Sam Witwer is nominated for daytime Emmy! - Star Wars: The Clone Wars nominated for 7 daytime Emmys
The Force is indeed with the fifth season of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” as it now has a shot at winning daytime Emmy Awards this year.
StarWars.com said the series itself, which traces its roots to the hit film franchise, received an Outstanding Special Class Animated Program nomination.
“Half the category is dominated by The Clone Wars actors: Jim Cummings as Hondo Ohnaka, David Tennant as Huyang, and Sam Witwer as Darth Maul,” it said.
